A Domain Name is a web address that ends in .com, .ca, .org or another similar ending. Domain names are registered for a period of time and are renewable.

Web Hosting or 'Hosting' is a service which offers a physical location for the storage of web pages and files. Think of a Web Hosting Company as a type of landlord, they rent physical space on their servers allowing webpages to be distributed on the Internet.
